Starting my morning right at Aloha Kitchen, the cozy breakfast spot in Waikiki.

If you’re looking for the ultimate breakfast spot in Hawaii, you have to check out Aloha Kitchen. I’ve tried Loco Moco at a bunch of different places, but this one? It’s on a whole different level. Trust me, it’s worth the hype.

πŸ•’ Quick Tips: Beating the Wait

I got there in the morning and waited about 20-30 minutes. Not too bad, especially since they have a fast turnaround. Plus, you can browse the menu while waiting! πŸ“‹

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip:
Get there for the 7:30 AM opening if you can. After 9 AM, the line gets way longer. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

  • Hours: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Daily)
  • Last Order: Usually around 1:30 PM.
  • Parking: No private lot, so look for street parking or nearby public lots. πŸš—

The best Loco Moco in Waikiki with thick beef patty and gravy at Aloha Kitchen
The legendary Loco Moco. That juicy patty and rich gravy are a total game changer

πŸ₯ž What to Order (The Good Stuff)

1. Souffle Pancake (Banana Strawberry) – $22.5

These are like eating a cloud. ☁️ They’re super fluffy and light, topped with tons of fresh fruit. It’s a huge portion, so it’s perfect for sharing with your travel buddy.

2. Big Island Loco Moco – $18.5 ⭐️ My Top Pick

This is the star of the show. The patty is thick, juicy, and definitely not that frozen stuff. The gravy is rich without being too salty, and when you break that yolk… pure magic. 😍

3. Fresh Orange Juice & Coffee – $8

  • Orange Juice: The OJ tastes like it was squeezed five seconds before it hit the table. 🍊
  • Coffee: If you’re a caffeine lover, coffee comes with free refills! It’s not the “servers walking around” typeβ€”just ask your server and they’ll hook you up. It’s the perfect way to chill after a big meal. β˜•οΈ

Cute merchandise like t-shirts and mugs at the entrance of Aloha Kitchen
Had to resist buying all these cute tees! Perfect souvenirs from Hawaii.

πŸ›οΈ Don’t Miss the Merch!

Before you leave, check out the cute merch by the entrance. They’ve got tees, mugs, and hats with their signature logo. I was this close to buying the pink tee because the color is so “Hawaii.” πŸ‘• (Tees are around $30-$35). Great for a unique souvenir!

🏨 Stayed nearby? Or Planning to?

I didn’t actually stay here this time, but Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is literally just a short walk away. If you’re staying at the Hilton, you have zero excuses to skip this place for breakfast. It’s way better (and more local) than just grabbing something at the hotel!

If you’re still looking for a place to stay that’s close to all the best eats like Aloha Kitchen, you can check it out here:
